Menus One by One, and Parties Leave Together

The hostess sets a menu in front of each guest in turn, nearest first, with a soft thud, and the stack in her hands gets smaller. Before, every menu appeared at once.
A table asks for the check only once everyone at it has finished eating. Guests who finish first wait for the others.
Nobody leaves until everyone at the table has paid, including anyone waiting for their card to come back. Then the whole party gets up and leaves together.
Fixed a kitchen stall: a cook who went to the rack by the sink for a plate and found it empty used to wait on the rack's only access tile, which blocked the empty rack from being brought back. They now go back to the plating table to wait.
