Glass Racks

Washed glasses go into a glass rack on the counter beside the sink, one at a time, after the plates.
A full rack is carried out to the drink station, where the clean glasses wait in their racks behind the drink machine, and an empty rack comes back to the sink. When the drink station is running low, or the dishwasher has nothing else to do, the rack goes over with whatever is in it.
Two servers no longer stand on the same square to use the register; the second waits beside it.
