Front-of-House Pay in Quarters
- Part of the balance test: front of house (hostess, servers, busboy) now starts at $2.25 an hour instead of $2.13, so base pay comes in 25-cent steps like the other roles (cooks $8, the dishwasher $7.25). They still split the guests' tips. For the default crew of five front-of-house staff, that's 60 cents more an hour.
