The Truck Sounds Like a Truck

The food truck has its own soundscape. A park ambience (birds, air, distant voices) plays all day in place of the street and dining-room murmur.
Meat lands on the griddle with a slap before it sizzles.
The serving window slides open when the cook takes an order or hands food out.
A dog or burger rustles into its paper boat or wrapper. To-go orders are bagged with a paper-bag sound.
Litter thrown into the outdoor bin makes a toss sound instead of the dumpster lid.
The rice cooker opens with a click for each don bowl.
