Plates Travel, Pads and Pauses

  • A finished dish no longer vanishes while the cook rings the bell. He sets it down on his side of the pass and it slides across to its spot for the server.
  • A delivered plate glides from the server's hands onto the table instead of appearing there.
  • A server taking an order holds an order pad, her pad hand jiggling as she writes, with a pen-scribble sound while each guest speaks. This covers drink orders too.
  • The dish area starts with two empty dish racks instead of one, so the dishwasher can fill the second while the first is on its way to the cooks.
  • A pan in the sink stays close to the size it's carried at instead of shrinking ((screenshot)).
  • The space bar pauses and resumes the game, and starts service like ▶. It does nothing while typing, in edit mode, or with a menu open.
