The real art arrives
- The coded placeholder shapes are gone from the map. The land, the campfire, the stakes, the survivors, the risen, every piece of carrying gear, the traps and the resource badges are now real drawn art. The picture shows a morning at camp, a night with the risen at the stakes, and the end of a run with the fire burned down to embers.
- Forests and fields wear out as you work them: a forest thins to stumps and a field goes from standing crop to bare furrows as a tile is stripped, so the map shows how much is left at a glance.
- Every survivor is drawn as their own person — build, skin tone, hair and hair colour stay the same for them all run long. The one who leads wears a warm orange tunic; everyone else wears undyed wool. A wounded or sick survivor carries a small red mark above their head.
- The risen are hunched, grey and reaching, and a horde coming over the hills is five of them together.
- Nothing about how the game plays has changed. Version v0.0.29.
- Unexplored land now lies under a dark, cold fog instead of a pale one, so the firelit camp is the brightest thing on the map again, as it should be. Version v0.0.30.
