Land you can aim for, and a right-click menu for every tile

  • Each kind of land is now good for something, so a scavenging trip can go after what the camp needs. Two new kinds turn up on the map: a ruined chapel, stocked with medicine, and an old battlefield, where a trip turns up a weapon most of the time and bows, crossbows, swords and arrows are twice as likely as anywhere else. Forests give wood, fields food, hamlets scrap with the odd weapon, and marshes a little food and healing herbs.
  • Medicine is a new resource. A wounded or sick survivor who rests and eats at camp takes a dose if there is any, and heals a day sooner. It takes carry slots like everything else, and the risen can carry it off.
  • Hovering over a tile shows a card beside the pointer: what the land is, what it's good for, what's left, how risky a trip is, any trap laid there, and who is going.
  • Right-click a tile for everything that can be done there, with a button for each survivor: scavenge it, scout its ring, or lay a trap on an approach. Right-click the camp for camp work: guard, rest, walls, the sack, the wheelbarrow and cart, the axe and spears. Jobs nobody can do yet stay in the menu, greyed out, with the reason. The menu replaces the drop-down list of tasks each survivor had. On a touch screen, a long press opens it, and so does tapping a tile.
  • At night the same menu posts survivors: right-click a tile and choose who holds it.
